Collectors normally categorize Peace bears by either "predominant colors" or swing and tush tag variations.

The colors are sometimes categorized further as "pastel" or vivid. Ty produced Peace Beanie Baby bears in China and Indonesia.

Every Peace bear is unique because of its Ty-dye fabric. Peace was the first Beanie Baby with an embroidered emblem. The Peace Bear's introduction date of May 11, 1997, is the same date Garcia was retired.

Peace is identical to Garcia except for the name, tags and the peace symbol on Peace's chest. There are two generally accepted categories of Peace; "tie-dyed" and pastel tie-dyed. The pastel, tie-dyed versions have 5th generation swing tags and 6th generation Tush tags.

SPECIAL FEATURES, ODDITIES & ERRORS. Front of hang tag has the error- "ORIGIINAL" is misspelled with double "I". Rear hang tag has second error with surface being misspelled as "SUFACE" with no R.

This is the ONLY version peace Bear to have the combination of BOTH P. Pellets, PLUS ALL MAJOR misspelled tag errors / oddities. Genuine First Edition Peace Bear Made with P. Pellets PVC Pellets - Rare Original Pellets, providing a superior plush form P.

Editions were integrated and monopolized shortly after PVC was officially retired from TY's Plush Toy line in 1996 [the year Peace was introduced to the world]. There's an extra space before and after the semicolon ";" (preceding the date of birth, inside right swing tag) -- This is not only significant because of the extra space, but also because it should have been printed as a regular colon with no space ":" [as opposed to a semicolon with added spaces to each side " ; "].

No Stamp inside Tush Tag Indicating an early generation, born prior to the days of mass factory branding production; thus. The Ty addresses listed on the left interior of the hang tag- the "Fareham, Hants" is collectible and a rarity. Inside the swing tag, "UK" does not appear after "5TX". As you can tell from the photos, this Peace Bear is the REAL DEAL. It is in truly flawless, Brand NEW [MWMT] condition.

Peace has been professionally stored, in a non-smoking environment with literally no interaction since being born, over two decades ago. Albeit, a legitimate museum quality specimen, that includes both the individual plastic storage box and swing tag protector as well.
