I was unable to run an entire tape without registration issues. They are super cool mechanically, but they have serious problems that keep them from being good.

So if you want your footage to look like home video, the K3 is great, and the standard lens isn't bad. I shot quite a few home movies on my own and was very happy with it for this app. Bolex is of course much better, the image is super stable and sharp because the film is properly held in the gate.

Plus, your gripes with the K3 and its cranks are pretty much the same as with the Bolex. I like my Bolex, but it's useless in 50% of production due to the non-orientable viewfinder, how much sound, dark viewfinder and dirty lens / adapter support. I give you a guarantee that the camera will work properly!! If there are any problems - I will repair your camera for free!!
