This package includes breecher barrel and + 3 round extension kit. Enhance the versatility and performance of your Remington! This is a brand new 20.5 inch barrel with breecher choke installed. This barrel is made for a Remington 870 by Carlsons. We call this a super barrel because it of great quality and features. Better than a factory Remington in our opinion. #1 its chrome lined and #2 it is threaded to accept all Remington and Rem Chokes!!! Having a short barrel that accepts chokes is a huge advantage. Being able to put a cylinder choke, breacher choke or slug choke to name a few has great advantages over just a fixed cylinder bore barrel. Increase your fire power with +3 extra shells to give your shotgun a total of 8 rounds with this magazine extension tube by Choate. One less round with 3 shells. The new model Remington 870/1100/1187 shotgun have 2 dimples that will have to be sanded /ground down or drilled out with 3/16 holes before spring will extend up into the magazine extension. The older model Remington 870/1100/1187 will readily accept this extension without any alterations.

If for some reason you are replacing a new Remington tactical short barrel that you bought brand new within a year or so that already has short barrel installed from the factory and has a one piece magazine tube that holds 6 rounds+1 in the chamber. No, this will not fit left handed Remington 870's. No this will not fit Remington clones.
