SUPER SEAL Brand Apex Seals. 2mm RX-8 Super Seals with Classic Springs. The seals are designed to work with our Classic brand, dual spring set included.

The Super Seal brand apex seal was introduced in 2005 as higher performance option to the very successful Classic line of apex seals. Using the same proprietary base material, Super Seals go through additional metallurgical treatments to increase bending strength, heat resistance, wear characteristics and overall toughness. These enhancements are accomplished without making the seal brittle.

The Super Seal has a unique hardened outer surface that resists bending and wear, while the core retains enough flexibility to resist shattering, even under extreme detonation. Hardened core seals, like the OEM part, will shatter when pushed past its limit. A broken seal is usually expelled from the rotor, causing catastrophic damage to the rotors, housings and, sometimes the turbo charger. Seals that have been made from softer materials, such as C40 gray iron, wear rapidly and cannot withstand high performance boost pressures experienced in most custom engine builds. The Super Seal, is a well balanced and proven design, that when installed in a properly tuned engine, will easily match or exceed the performance of any steel seal on the market. CLASSIC APEX SEAL SPRING SET (6 SHORT, 6 LONG). Compatible with all OEM 2MM Apex Seals, all 2mm East Coast Rotary Super Seals, Classic Apex Seals or Other brand seals using N3H1-11-C04 AND N3H3-11-C06 MAZDA springs. These springs are manufactured in the US, by an ISO 9001:2008 certified contractor who specializes in making spring wireforms for both the Medical and Aerospace industries.

Our springs are made from high quality spring steel, on CNC spring forming machines. They are stress relieved and ceramic tumbled/polished prior to being carefully inspected to meet rigid dimensional and performance specifications. The dimensions and spring rates are equivalent to their OEM counter parts. Defective seals will be replaced.
